MoDOT permanently closes I-70 ramp to 10th Street Oct. 10

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor Millstone Bangert Inc. will permanently close the exit ramp 249A from eastbound Interstate 70 to 10th Street in St. Louis City at  9  a.m. October 10, 2011.

The ramp will be removed permanently so crews can construct roadway and ramps between I-70 and the new Mississippi River Bridge. The new ramps to the bridge will cross directly over the current location of the 10th Street exit ramps.

Drivers can use Broadway exit 250A to get into the city.

Boone Bridge closure

Westbound I-64 closed all day Sunday

Westbound I-64 at the Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 to reopen by 9 p.m. that evening.

Westbound I-64 at the Daniel Boone Bridge will be closed starting at around 6 a.m. on Sunday.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is encouraging motorists to use I-270 to I-70, or Route 364 to Route 94. People returning to St. Louis from St. Charles County will be able to use eastbound I-64.

Mark Croarkin  is the St. Louis bridge engineer for MoDOT. He says the Boone Bridge over the Missouri River will be closed for a routine inspection.
