MoDOT to take "hard look" at snow response following rough commute

Missouri Department of Transportation Motorist Assist operators assisted drivers stalled on Interstate 64 during Thursday morning's difficult commute.

The head of the Missouri Department of Transportation's St. Louis district says he and other officials will take a very hard look at snow removal efforts following a tough commute in the region Thursday morning.

Region gears up for first wintery blast

MoDOT snowplows are ready to go as the region prepares for its first winter storm of the season.

Three weeks into the winter season, and the weather forecast is just now starting to feel like it, with snow and falling temperatures in the forecast.

Blanchette Bridge closures start tonight

A friendly reminder to St. Charles drivers - overnight lane closures will start on the Blanchette Bridge tonight.

The closures are needed in preparation for the major rehabilitation of the bridge's westbound span, which is expected to start in 2012. The current work will move utilities from the westbound bridge to the eastbound lanes.
