A new wrinkle of disagreement has emerged in Missouri's special legislative session on business incentives. State lawmakers and Gov. Jay Nixon now apparently are at odds over the production of military fighter jets.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture has finalized the first set of new rules for dog breeders in Missouri, which go into effect January first.

They're the result of a compromise reached earlier this year between Governor Jay Nixon (D) and Republican lawmakers.

Missouri businessman Rex Sinquefield has donated $1.3 million to a committee that supports overhauling the state's tax code.

The committee Let Voters Decide backs a proposed ballot measure that would replace Missouri's income tax with a broader sales tax. Missouri Ethics Commission records show Sinquefield made the donation Monday. Campaign contributions of more than $5,000 must be reported within 48 hours.
