Legislation that would repeal public assistance for some immigrants is being considered by a Missouri House committee.

The organization Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates, or MIRA, is presenting their third annual visual exhibition “The Missouri Immigrant Experience: Faces and Places” at Old North Restoration Group from November 9 – December 2.

The photography exhibition features the images of local photographers Juan Montana and Bosnia native Amela Sinijac, in addition to historical photographs provided by the Missouri Historical Society.
