Developer announces Del Taco building might not be demolished after all

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, at a public meeting last night, developer Rick Yackey said that he’s in  final negotiations with two tenants to occupy the shuttered former Del Taco building.

St. Charles house fire claims fourth victim

A tragic house fire in St. Charles has claimed the life of a 4th victim. 8-year-old Quentin Gresham died early this morning, following the deaths of his father, mother and younger sister earlier this week.

As the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports, the lone survivor of the deadly blaze is 11-year-old Robert Zwilling, who escaped by jumping out a second-floor window.

A measure that local preservationists worry could lead to the demolition of the UFO-shaped former home of Del Taco on Grand Ave. is on its way to the mayor's desk.
