The Missouri Secretary of State's Office released their prediction today for the voter turnout percentage Nov. 6: 72 percent.
If you're wondering (we were) in the last general election in 2008, the actual Missouri voter turnout was just above 69 percent, the Secretary of State's Office says.
The forecasted number released today is a compilation of 116 local election authority turnout predictions submitted to the Secretary of State's office from around Missouri.
How many voters is 72 percent? The Secretary of State's Office says that if its percentage prediction is correct, "more than 3 million of Missouri’s 4,190,936 registered voters will cast ballots in the election."
