Many Missourians may be familiar with Goodwill, an organization and chain of stores that allow patrons to donate clothing and other goods for sale to others.  It now seems that a former executive of the Missouri division of the company was benefiting more from the company than he should have.

You may have heard about a video of a St. Louis city police officer using his nightstick to beat a man. The video is available for you to watch above.

For a few hours this afternoon, the video was removed from YouTube under its "shocking and disgusting content" policy and has since been re-activated.

According to the Associated Press, police said in a statement Tuesday that while the circumstances are not yet known, the video is disturbing. Police say they have not yet identified the officer, but he will be placed on administrative duty once identified, until the investigation is complete.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon plans to deliver his annual State of the State speech on Jan. 19.

The speech is given each year in the House chamber before a joint legislative session. Governors use the speech to outline their priorities, highlight past polices and present their proposed state budget.

Policymakers estimate that Missouri is facing a $500 million budget deficit.

Nixon's speech is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Looks like Kit Bond isn't just moving out of national politics when he retires, but is moving on -- to the private sector.

Bond announced today, via a press release, that he will be having a morning press conference tomorrow in St. Louis to share the details of his next step. A location for the press conference was not listed, but will be announced at 8 a.m.

A 17-year-old and 16 year old juvenile are the two latest arrests in the Dec. 18 incident in which Maryland Heights Police sergeant Joe Eagan was shot in the face.
