The University of Missouri was officially accepted into the Southeastern Conference Sunday. SEC Presidents and Chancellors unanimously voted Missouri into the conference as its 14th member effective July 1, 2012.

A press conference and celebration were held Sunday evening at the MU student center.

Mizzou may bolt Big 12 Conference

St. Charles house fire claims fourth victim

A tragic house fire in St. Charles has claimed the life of a 4th victim. 8-year-old Quentin Gresham died early this morning, following the deaths of his father, mother and younger sister earlier this week.

As the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports, the lone survivor of the deadly blaze is 11-year-old Robert Zwilling, who escaped by jumping out a second-floor window.

Post office "possible closure" list includes St. Louis-area locations

Several St. Louis-area branches of the United States Postal Service are named on a "possible closure" list released by the Postal Service.

Nearly 3,700 post offices across the country are on the list of locations that will be studied to determine whether they should be closed. You can see a list of the offices on the list in the St. Louis area below.
